Cookies au matcha et chocolat blanc

Matcha and White Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients (Makes 20 cookies):

  • 110 g softened butter (at room temperature)
  • 90 g granulated sugar
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 190 g flour
  • 10 g cornstarch
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2.5 g baking soda
  • 2.5 g baking powder
  • 10 g UMIKA culinary matcha
  • 130 g white chocolate chips

Preparation:

  1. Cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and mix well.
  2. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cornstarch, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and UMIKA culinary matcha.
  3. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture using a spatula.
  4. Once the dough is well-combined, add the white chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form dough balls (using an ice cream scoop can make this easier). Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to help the cookies retain their shape during baking.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the cookies for 12 minutes, until they are slightly golden at the edges.

Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before enjoying them to achieve the perfect texture and intense matcha flavor!

These matcha and white chocolate cookies are perfect for a delicious treat or to share with friends. The UMIKA culinary matcha adds a unique flavor to each bite!
