How MAYUMI was born
Mayumi is the story of two childhood friends, Kenza and Lucie, brought together by their deep love for tea. This shared passion sparked the desire to share an exceptional product, matcha, and craft a unique experience around this Japanese treasure.

The journey to the perfect matcha
Finding the matcha that reflects our vision was no easy journey. It began with meticulous tastings and a rigorous selection process. Each sample brought us a step closer to our ideal. Ultimately, we selected two main matchas:

- A more intense and complex matcha, perfect for seasoned enthusiasts seeking refined and bold flavors.
Our goal was clear: to make matcha accessible to everyone while offering products that meet the expectations of even the most discerning connoisseurs.
Meeting our tea farmers
Our search lead us to Japan, where we had the privilege of meeting passionate producers, heirs to generations of tea cultivation expertise.
